Red Deer, Canada-based realtor Bryce Kander is looking to sell his 3.3-acre property in an area called Gasoline Alley for $1 million. But this isn’t any ordinary listing. Kander has made the decision to accept bitcoin, should a buyer be interested.
The property is a two-story, 2410-square-foot dwelling with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It the largest property available for bitcoin in Canada, and Kander says he’s dead serious about accepting the digital currency, noting his intentions are anything but a gimmick.
“It’s for real,” he said to the Red Deer Advocate. “It’s not your typical person who’s going to buy this particular piece of property.”
He’s a big believer in bitcoin, too, which explains why he’s doing this in the first place.
“Basically, it’s going to go to zero or it’s going to go to $1 million,” he said.
