It’s been a while since we’ve heard about the pending Silk Road case, in which Ross Ulbricht (a.k.a. Dread Pirate Roberts) is accused to be the founder of the now-closed dark web illicit marcketplace (though another was formed in its place).
Not, Ulbricht’s mother is speaking out with regard to ongoing issues. Ms. Ulbricht spoke to WeAreChange.org, a media organization that dedicates itself to “expose corruption worldwide”.
While she admits she doesn’t know a whole lot about the case, she’s confident that her son, Ross, isn’t the perpetrator of the crimes he’s been accused of. This includes running a criminal enterprise, laundering money, trafficking narcotics, and more.
Ulbricht has pleaded not guilty to all charges. If you have 10 minutes or so, it’s worth a watch.
