Australian technology group Digital World Ventures (DWV) has launched a Bitcoin exchange DWVx to facilitate increased trading of cryptocurrencies at extremely low costs. The exchange has been launched through a partnership with the white label digital currency exchange platform AlphaPoint for Bitcoin enthusiasts and geeks in Western Australia.
Established in 2014 by founders Ian Davies and James Clarke, Digital World Ventures has launched the Digital World Ventures Exchange with a highly competitive fee structure to increase bottom-line returns of its users. With this exchange, the Australian group also aims to generate trust and build faith within the cryptocurrency community.
CEO of the New York-based AlphaPoint Vadim Telyatnikov said, “We’re very excited Digital World Ventures selected us as their technology partner. James and Ian are well-known experts in the community and, we believe they have the right technical and financial backgrounds to make DWVx a significant player in the region.”
DWVx which will open an office in Perth, Australia, will face stiff competition from other leading Bitcoin exchanges such as Igot who offer advanced trading tools and high leverage to their clients. Since the digital currency ecosystem is expanding in Australia, the scene is set to get extremely competitive in the near future.
However, the company hopes to make a significant impact on the Bitcoin community in Western Australia by providing unparalleled customer support while utilizing AlphaPoint’s technology to provide an unforgettable experience to its clients. The company is also expecting to gain from the fact that all the Bitcoin exchanges are on the east coast.
DWVx has received banking support from the second largest Australian bank Westpac, who were “very supportive and informed about the cryptocurrency.” Company’s co-founder Ian Davies had previously worked for the bank.
DWV and AlphaPoint will now arrange and conduct Bitcoin meetups to promote the exchange.
