Most of us have already known about the Nepal earthquake that rocked the South Asian country last month. The Nepal earthquake of magnitude 7.8 epicentered in Kathmandu caused extensive damage to life and property in the region. This huge earthquake on April 25, 2015 was followed by multiple aftershocks, the latest one of magnitude 7.2 on May 12. 2015.

The Nepal earthquake toll is expected to cross 10,000, along with collapsed buildings (both old and new ones alike) and damage to infrastructure has made rehabilitation hard. Governments, organizations and individuals across the world are providing support in the form of donations towards relief and rehabilitation of the victims. Medical, Search and Rescue and disaster management teams from across the world are currently working alongside Nepalese authorities on the ground to help these victims.
