OKEx Jumpstart, an initiative of OKEx – a leading digital asset exchange and trading platform has announced another token sale project. The upcoming token sale of NDN Link (NDN) is set to go live on May 20, 2020, becoming the 13th project to do so on the platform.
Established in January 2019, NDN Link combines Named Data Networking (NDN) protocol and blockchain technology to create a decentralized data transmission network capable of supporting next-generation internet applications and services. By using the cryptocurrency’s underlying technology, the team led by NDN Project’s chief scientist Liang Teng has achieved new breakthroughs in – data naming as a whole, proof of work on data routing, etc. building a content-centric internet communication technology infrastructure that doesn’t rely on IP.
The potential use cases of the combination of these two technologies are well-known to the industry. Recognizing the importance, OKEx JumpStart has handpicked NDN Link for the upcoming token sale program. The CEO of OKEx Jay Hao, while reiterating the company’s commitment to supporting wider adoption of blockchain technology and the value NDN Link brings to the ecosystem said:

The entire supply of 5 billion NDN tokens will be made available on OKEx JumpStart platform once the token sale goes live at a unit price of 0.006 USDT per NDN as against the private sale price of 0.02 USDT with an individual minimum subscription amount of 50,000 NDN. During the token sale, OKB will be the only recognized token for subscription and settlement, and the rate of OKB/USD will be confirmed on the sale day.
OKEx will have two subscription sessions on May 20, 2020. The OKBelievers Exclusive Allotment Session will go live at 4:00 (UTC) with a maximum allotment of 166,666,667 NDN, followed by the OKTraders Privilege Allotment Session an hour after at 5:00 (UTC) which similar NDN allotment as the former. The platform has set an individual cap of 670,000 NDN for participants in both the sessions.
Soon after, the NDN/USDT and NDN/USDK spot trading pairs will be made available on May 20, 2020 at 7:00 and 9:00 UTC, respectively.
