The Bitcoin Foundation is constantly receiving attention. With the elections that are now taking place, many digital currency enthusiasts are waiting on the edge of their seats, eager to see who will have a say when it comes to governing bitcoin’s future.
Now the foundation is in the news again, only this time for a different reason… Partnerships…
The Bitcoin Foundation is partnering with some of the biggest players in the cryptoc
urrency community
Entities such as BitFury, BitGo, ChangeTip and Tally Capital. Through the aid of lifetime member Bruce Fenton, the foundation is engaging the help of theAudience, a multi-channel publisher of social media and digital content, to create a massive media campaign that will educate businesses, consumers and general society members alike on the art and usage of bitcoin.
BitFury CEO Valery Vavilov commented on the move, explaining:
“We are passionate about Bitcoin and the highly disruptive technology of blockchain which will have the social, cultural and technological impact on society as the Internet did starting 20 years ago. We selected theAudience for their ability to effectively communicate impactful stories. We trust in their ability to convey our passion, belief in the genius behind the blockchain and determination to bring the benefits of the Bitcoin and blockchain to the world.”
Oliver Luckett, co-founder of theAudience is particularly enthusiastic about the partnership and bitcoin in general, stating:
“Bitcoin offers incredible benefits for humanity… We’re digital storytellers and want to help Bitcoin companies convey the positive change they’re capable of bringing to the world – from new fraud-proof voting mechanisms, to affordable remittance payments, to banking services for the disenfranchised.”
Following a recent survey conducted by CoinCenter that show’s bitcoin knowledge being at an all-time low, several organizations are calling for faster and further education in the subject of digital currency, and theAudience is aiming to deliver. Bitcoin Foundation could provide the right momentum for such campaigns.
