Bitcoin wallet Coinkite has upgraded its features by adding a direct “Buy Now” button for online merchants to add to their platforms. This gives bitcoin wallet holders a simple e-commerce solution for their online shopping needs.
Coinkite users can accept these payments with a strong degree of privacy because it does not require javascript nor cookies. This would allow merchants who value their privacy to sell items for bitcoin very easily.

With this kind of convenience at their fingertips, buyers can bypass several steps of executing bitcoin payments and be able to go through a more seamless process of online shopping through their bitcoin wallet.
Of course this offers plenty of advantages compared to other traditional forms of payment as well, such as credit or debit cards. “They get privacy, and always have. Now anyone can collect a few bitcoins online in exchange for goods or services using Coinkite,” said company CTO Peter Gray.
Coinkite is one of the most well-known bitcoin wallet services out there, as the company has been in operations since 2013. Since then, it has been able to create one of the largest business platforms that accept bitcoin payments.
The company also offers a developer API, which makes it easy for online merchants to integrate their services on the platform. Prices can be shown in either bitcoin or local currency, displaying the payment address by QR Code, bitcoin URL, or Coinkite account.
This type of direct “Buy Now” feature is nothing new among online payment companies, as PayPal has previously introduced this a few years back while Amazon also allows the “Buy with One Click” feature on its website. However, this is the first of its kind in the bitcoin arena and other bitcoin wallet companies could follow suit, paving the way for more transactions and sales using the cryptocurrency.
