Bitcoin remittance startups are invited to be part of an international conference happening next month in Istanbul. Bitcoin based services are gaining prominence in the global money transfer and remittance market. The role of Bitcoin and its potential to change the global economy is being recognized and acknowledged by the traditional players in banking and finance sectors. The recent letter to the stakeholders of JPMorgan Chase is one of the many examples. The inclusion of Bitcoin based companies to International Money Transfer Conference – IMTC EMEA 2015 further strengthens its position in mainstream economy.
This is the very first edition of International Money Transfer Conference targeted towards Europe, Middle East and Africa region (IMTC EMEA) organized in Istanbul, Turkey. While the Middle East and Africa are emerging Bitcoin markets driven by lack of conventional electronic payments options and high volumes of international remittances respectively, European businesses are including Bitcoin as an additional payment option. Apart from Bitcoin remittance startups, this conference will also play host to telecommunications providers, banks, mobile network operators, non-banking financial institutions etc. that are involved in money transfer.
