The information comes from multiple sources such as Bitcoin Watch and BlockChain.info. These records indicate in a period of a day, about 2,069,000 BTC have been passed around. Multiply that by the present exchange rate, and it’s a whole lot of money.

In total, it’s about 54,000 actual transactions. But as this currency continues to grow, you can obviously expect these numbers to come up.

Take a look at the chart posted above. You can see the spike in transaction volume in the month of November. See how that compares to Bitcoin highs earlier this year (back in April). The comparison is almost laughable.
