$30 Million Bitcoin Fund Started By Aussie VC Firm

Big business and bitcoin. The two are coming together and meeting up.

An Australian VC firm Future Capital has reportedly launched a global investment fund to the tune of a whopping $30 million for bitcoin-related companies aptly named the Future Capital Bitcoin Fund.

According to the fund’s head honcho, Domenic Carosa, it’s the first of its kind in the land down under.

According to bitcoin news publication CoinDesk, the fund is slated to become active this month, and will accept investments in AUD, U.S. Dollars, Yuan, and of course bitcoin.

“Bitcoin has the potential to dramatically alter the manner in which transactions take place across the globe and the power to create new modes of financial connectivity, seamlessly across borders,” said Mr. Carosa.

With an experienced team working this, the firm is said to have an impressive track record, which could be a really big deal for the companies they decide to invest in.

As the usage of bitcoin continues to grow, we are likely to see more moves like this not only in Australia, but across the world.
