Popular video game site Play-Asia.com is offering some special discounts with bitcoin.
Since early September, Play-Asia.com has joined the ranks of businesses like Overstock to accept bitcoin as a feasible method of payment. Just two months ago, the platform released a statement to customers on its news page which read:
“To Our Dear Customers,
Thanks again for all your constant support! While some of you may have noticed during the checkout process, we’d like to officially announce that we now finally accept Bitcoin as a payment option! For those who have been requesting this for some time, thank you for your patience, and we hope that this can make your experience with us even better. Again, if you’ve any issues at all, our Customer Service Team is always at the ready to help you out, so please don’t hesitate to contact them over at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks again!
Your Team at Play-Asia.com”
With the holiday season swiftly approaching, the site is offering consumers the chance to earn five percent off anything they purchase from now through Christmas Day (December 25) 2016 when they buy with bitcoin. Games and accessories for systems like the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, and even PCs and MacBook are available. The site also offers movies, music, books, and additional electronics.
This is not the first time businesses have looked to offer digital currency discounts. Hoping to increase bitcoin awareness throughout India, currency platforms Purse.io and Unocoin recently joined hands to offer customers online shopping discounts through Amazon from anywhere between ten and 22 percent. Adam Draper offered words of acclaim for Unocoin following their impressive crowdfunding campaign last September when executives managed to secure over $1.5 million to put towards business expansion. Draper exclaimed:
“Unocoin continues to make an enormous impact on the global Bitcoin market, and will continue to be a global market leader.”
