Not terribly long ago newsBTC published a report that indicated that Shopify merchants would soon be able to accept Bitcoin. It looks like that has finally happened. The 70,000+ sellers on the Shopify network are now able to use the BitPay integration to accept Bitcoins as opposed to traditional fiat currency.
One user on Reddit says, “I’ve already had three BTC sales from it!”
This is certainly a great option for the sellers who enjoy the convenience of Bitcoin and don’t want to deal with credit card processors who take hefty fees.
