Crowdfunding platform BlockTrust has recently launched the first funding arena strictly devoted to blockchain projects. CEO and co-founder Artiom Vontolazko explains:
“BlockTrust is a service aimed at providing a powerful solution for Blockchain entrepreneurs… Those entrepreneurs are in need of a secure, easy to use platform to fund their projects. We provide that while contributing to a fraud-free environment that traders and investors can take advantage of, rather than being taken advantage of.”
Currently, BlockTrust offers project enthusiasts two different options; the Certification Package (which offers integrity certification to projects that satisfy all crowdfunding requirements) only costs one bitcoin.
The second option, known as the Crowdfunding Package, costs about five bitcoins, and offers a “Certified Crowd Offering” page which grants readers access to special content related specifically to the project(s) they’re looking to fund. Management with stronger security (including three out of three multi-sig wallets where BlockTrust serves as a co-signer) is also offered to those who accept the higher-priced package.
Aside from its work in the crowdfunding scheme, BlockTrust is also looking to launch a messaging app allowing in-app transactions with mobile bitcoin exchange SendChat. As the company’s founder Alejandro De La Torre explains:
“We are delighted to work with BlockTrust because their crowd funding platform has the most advanced security features in the market giving our investors the best protection.”
