Chinese bitcoin exchange BTC China this weekend announced plans to reduce trading commission fees from 0.3% to 0.1% for all users.
The fee change will become effective as of noon time (China time) on the 24th of February.
BTC China says that for the traders who place limit orders that add to market liquidity will receive an addition 0.1% rebate.
The exchange eliminated fees completely last Autumn just before they became the world’s most popular exchange due to immense interest from the Chinese people. Regulatory uncertainty in the country ultimately caused the trading service to lose popularity — though it still remains one of the largest exchanges today.
In early January, BTC China advised traders they were re-instating fees due to a “turbulent bitcoin market”.
