Fifty percent of the famous Winklevoss twin duo (it’s a joke… just laugh) today did an AMA (ask me anything, or perhaps better referred to as a question & answer) session on Reddit.
It was Cameron Winklevoss, and he opened up to answer questions about, well, anything — but particularly, bitcoin. Therein were some golden nuggets of information the bitcoin community might find interesting. For instance, Cameron and his brother Tyler, who both (together) hold about $35 million worth of bitcoin have yet to sell even one. Cameron says the two are holding long-term.
And while we’re talking long-term, Cameron’s conservative guess is that each bitcoin unit could be worth $40,000 in the future — and faster than we all think. The twin says “it could be much larger”.
On the topic of altcoins like namecoin, litecoin, peercoin, and so forth, Cameron says he has not thrown his money in them, as he feels “that any of the ‘problems’ or issues that they address can’t be addressed by Bitcoin itself.”
If you have not yet, we strongly encourage you read the entire thread. There’s a ton of information not mentioned here.
