Coinbase has today released their official app for iOS devices, allowing users to access their online wallets conveniently through their Apple devices. The app also allows users to buy and sell Bitcoin — arguably one of the most popular features Coinbase has to offer.
For those worried about security, Coinbase says “you can set a pin code in the app, and even remotely disable access if you phone is ever lost or stolen.”
Despite being the initial release, it would appear as if users are so far happy with the application’s functionality and aesthetics.
“This app is a breakthrough in bitcoin everyday use,” writes one reviewing on Apple’s App Store.
“Looks beautiful and works great,” says another reviewer.
Another reviewer points out that the application does have some bugs, but of course, with any software so new, you would come to expect that.
Give it a whirl and tell me what you think. Does it suit your Bitcoin needs? What does the Bitcoin app for iOS need now?
