Bitget has released a survey report on Tap-to-Earn (T2E) games on Telegram. The report examines popular TON games, user habits, and decentralized wallets within the TON ecosystem, providing insights into user behavior in this expanding market.
The survey gathered 10,534 valid responses through Telegram questionnaires. As Telegram’s user base nears one billion, games like Hamster Kombat have seen a rise in popularity. The survey indicates that many Telegram users enjoy “Tap-to-Earn” games for their simplicity, low entry costs, and frequent rewards.
According to the data, about 86% of respondents are playing Hamster Kombat, highlighting its significant presence in the TON ecosystem. Tapswap and Blum also have notable user bases, with 79% and 78% of respondents, respectively. Yescoin and Catizen round out the top five games. The survey also found that 54% of participants play up to five games, showing a high overlap among users of popular games.

Alvin Kan, Chief Operating Officer at Bitget Wallet, remarked on the growth of T2E games on TON and the role of decentralized wallets. Bitget Wallet supports the TON ecosystem, allowing users to trade TON assets and access over 50 major dApps, such as Catizen, Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Yescoin. Bitget Wallet has also introduced 0 gas fee transactions in collaboration with TON.
Decentralized wallets play a key role for users of Telegram games. The survey shows that 41% of users choose decentralized wallets based on recommendations from friends, emphasizing the impact of Word of Mouth (WOM). Additionally, 31% and 27% of users learn about wallets through Telegram communities and the games they play, respectively.
Mobile apps are the preferred choice for these users, differing from traditional Web3 users who tend to use browser extensions. This shift suggests that Telegram and its games are bringing new users into the crypto industry, altering user behavior patterns. Trust Wallet and Bitget Wallet are the most popular wallets among T2E game users, with usage rates of 71% and 68%, respectively, surpassing Metamask.
The Bitget report offers a detailed look at the behaviors of game users within the TON ecosystem and provides market insights that could guide future product and service development. The continued growth of the TON ecosystem and its user base is likely to drive further innovation and opportunities in both the gaming and crypto industries.
