The company develops its products based on 3 ideas
– Health and social
– Blockchain popularization
– Interaction and learning through play
This is the backbone of metaforest ideas that we aim to spread, giving handy tools to implement web3 gaming solutions to different companies.
A bit of research:
According to McKinsey & Company study, people plan to spend up to 4 hours a day in metaverses within the next 5 years, which can be compared to watching TV and entertainment shows now. Also, 59% plan to move some of their activities into virtual worlds, whether it’s learning new things, socializing, or work issues.
These are the trends that indicate advertising and customer interaction market is about to change.
The classic methods of interaction using targeting ads and own website will become less effective, but interaction via mechanics within metaverses to become more popular.
“Currently situation reminds me of 2000, first companies to move into gamification and metaverses are the ones who will gain the most – just like the businesses that were the first to move online in 2000 – and we are here to help.” – comments CEO of Metaforest, Max Gogolev
About Metaforest:
Metaforest began as a game project that has a goal to unite the Virtual World and the real one. It was the first Realverse.
The concept itself involved 3 game modules
– Metaverse
A virtual world where all players could meet, communicate, play mini-games, complete quests, build their own house, join a clan and participate in wars. This is where the main social interaction of all players takes place
– Do&Earn module
This module is designed to track the player’s actions in the real world and transfer them to the virtual character. Now the rank of the character depends on how many steps you took, how deep you slept, how long did you study or, say, whether you meditated or not. This brings new excitement and motivation for players to work on their mental and physical health. We’ve already gathered 10,000+ players in this module.
– AR Module.
Augmented reality that allows you to interact with virtual objects in the real world. All you need is your phone and that’s it. Player can both explore his city alone and together with his friends doing fun quests. It also brings great opportunities for businesses to attract new audiences and gamify interaction with people.
Players interacted with all 3 modules with 1 NFT, and actions in one module could affect all the others.
For example, buying a bed in the Metaverse unlocks the ability to track and monetize your sleep in the Do&Earn module (sleep&Earn); finding a certain location in AR unlocks new locations in the Metaverse, etc.
In addition to the 3 game modules in the Metaforest ecosystem, it also has 4 other important parts
– Central event hub
Interacts with the blockchain and stores basic information about the application and NFT
– Modular application builder
Allows you to quickly deploy different metaverses, AR and Do&Earn applications.
– Marketplace of gaming NFTs
All NFTs are dynamic and change from player actions. Deployed resources can spoil, NFT characters can get stronger, and items can be upgraded. All of this will be displayed on the marketplace.
– Launchpad.
Allows you to launch new tokens and immediately assign them mining and spending rules within the system applications
While developing the back-end architecture for our applications, we realized we were creating an infrastructure that allows any web3 or web2 project to:
1) Embed their NFT into Metaforest’s gaming applications, as well as their partners’ applications and metaverses.
Central hub interacts with NFTs so we can pass unique NFT mappings and rules for interacting with those into specific applications and metaverses. So, in a card game, NFT can be displayed as a card, in a turn-based strategy game it can become a 2D model of a hero, in a metaverse it can become a 3D model with a specific design.
We have already partnered with 6 NFT collections and adaptized their NFTs to the metaverse and other game applications for free.
We also help new projects in rendering their 2D and 3D NFT models and adapting them to different metaverses.
2) Deploy your metaverse or local area within a metaverse
Due to the modular solutions being developed, Nocode and lowcode, you can make your own virtual world or a minigame within the metaverse
3) Create your own games and Do&Earn applications
Modular system allows to configure which player’s actions will be tracked (walking, sleeping, meditation, certain tasks, social assistance, visiting certain places, etc) and what rewards the player will receive. All the modules are ready to work, all that remains is to build your application.
All the methods of tracking the player’s actions are being developed in collaboration with scientists from Singapore University
4) Make your own NFT crosschain.
All collections on the Metaforest platform are crosschain and it is possible to mint them in different networks. Currently we’ve got 3 blockchains (TON, Binance Smart Chain, Etherium). We are planning to add new networks (Polkadot, Near, Solana) in the near future.
Metaforest allows any collection to become a crosschain with a single management hub, where it’s possible to define a supply for each network and the cost of a mint, as well as get up-to-date information from different blockchains.
5) Release your token with inflationary (how the token will be spent within apps) and deflationary (how the token will be mined within apps) mechanics
Metaforest internal Launchpad allows any project to launch its own game token, configuring it’s inflationary and deflationary mechanics, collecting initial investments from it’s own community or Metaforest project community.
The token can be either internal, which is used only in company applications, or general, which can be used by other applications aswell as to be used anywhere else.
6) Develop your area with interaction rules in the AR space
Due to the AR module, any project or company can buy virtual land next to their real location and place some virtual content. This can be as simple as an ordinary building or it can be some interactive content that players can interact with.
How this can be used by web2 projects:
One of the Metaforest missions is to gently involve the user in blockchain, using slightly gamification way explaining to the end-user what blockchain is and what it is for.
Also, the developed technologies allow any project to make a smooth, almost seamless transition to web3 technology, gradually transferring its users from the usual models of interaction with the product to the new ones.
The interaction of web2 project with Metaforest allows to make it more modern, decentralized, gaming, health and social addicted due to introduction of Do&Earn module as well as linking new ways of monetization for projects and for end-users.
Metaforest plans:
The company is going to list its $MFGT token on 4 platforms in the coming months.
Metaforest already launched its game modules and is actively beta testing. Participants are able to get valuable gaming prizes and to gain rewards from a rewards pool of $170 000.
Negotiations with 4 web2 projects are in progress to integrate the project’s solutions into their ecosystem.
Our plan for 2023 is to reach 500 000 DAU by end of year and to sign over 500 partnerships with different companies.
Conclusion
More and more entertainment projects are rolling out their products on various blockchain networks, attracting small communities. But the world is changing, and it’s definitely ready to scale processes and bring entertainment projects together under the umbrella of some universal standard.
MetaForest is not a game, it serves as help to integrate other projects into a single ecosystem. After all… Ready Player One
