Web 3 NFT certification protocol, Wakweli is partnering with the Blockchain Lawyers Group (BLG) to enhance the industry’s legal expertise and further improve its proof-of-democracy (PoD) consensus algorithm.
The partnership aims to strengthen the legality and integrity of tokenized assets, by working with the group of lawyers on contracts drafted on Wakweli’s platform. BLG members will take part in the validation of the very first certificates and assist in strengthening the whole legal process. This aims to boost the trust in NFTs and makes Wakweli the benchmark of trust for the decentralized ecosystem.
Blockchain Lawyers Group (BLG) consists of a group of blockchain and Web 3 legal experts from around the globe. The group offers a directory of top legal experts, offering legal advice on blockchain and crypto-related matters, through an NFT membership model. The directory ensures that the featured members in every jurisdiction are knowledgeable and tech-savvy, capable of providing world-class legal advice on Web 3 and blockchain.
Speaking on the latest collaboration with Wakweli, Blockchain Lawyers Group Founder and Member Miguel Dinis Lucas said,
“We are excited to partner with such an innovative company as Wakweli, which is trying to solve a preeminent issue in the NFT space. We are confident that our collaboration will bring new levels of innovation and user-friendliness to the market.”
According to a statement from Wakweli, the latest partnership with BLG signals a “significant step towards providing competent and qualified legal advice” to its users, allowing them to get the best legal advice on crypto and blockchain-related matters. In addition, it will enable Wakweli to refine its offerings, enhance solid Web3 legal expertise, and ensure easy access to legal advice for businesses in the Web 3 ecosystem.
A promising future for Wakweli
The latest partnership marks another milestone for Wakweli following its Alpha release and whitepaper and website launch last year. Wakweli also launched an initiative, asking users and developers to apply for token grants from its on-chain treasury. This aims to push other Web 3 enterprises and startups to continue building solutions for their users.
The NFT certification protocol successfully completed a $1.1 million seed funding round and has partnered with several top crypto firms so far, including Polygon last month. With the latest BLG partnership, Wakweli will further its goal of pushing mass global adoption of the Web 3 ecosystem while enhancing NFT certification.
