It’s the end of the year, and we’re all looking back to see what we’ve done. The same goes for Mailchimp, the email marketing service provider, who has posted up a look at 2013 with some interesting company facts and statistics.
Among these: 18 new users in North Korea (huzzah!), 8,084 email subject lines containing curse words, and oh, 1,020 campaigns about bitcoin.
That’s probably more than most people would have guessed, but an impressive number none the less. It’s a good indicator that the bitcoin topic is alive and well — though you can be sure this number includes both positive and negative sentiments on the topic of bitcoin.
It would be interesting to get a chart of the bitcoin-related campaigns, because we’d probably see a huge spike in November-December when the price per coin went absolutely wild.
