Troubled exchange Mt. Gox, which filed for bankruptcy protection last week, has posted a new update on their website regarding the commencement of civil rehabilitation proceedings:

Former users of the website have been given a number to dial to report their losses, which will be used to count the company’s assets and liabilities.
In the end, the hope is that anyone who lost money at the exchange will receive a percentage of what they really had stored.
Moving forward, a preservation order will keep the company’s assets intact so that they can try and continue operating.
