It’s always interesting to learn about new bitcoin conferences taking place around the world.
Today, we’ve learned about Bitcoin South, a crypto-currency conference that’s slated to take place in Queenstown, New Zealand from November 29th – 30th.
Here’s a description of the event, as provided on the established website:
Bitcoin South is New Zealand’s first Cryptocurrency Conference. The aim is to bring international Bitcoin related companies, VC’s and Speakers to New Zealand to showcase the industry to Keen New Zealand & Australian Entrepreneurs, Business owners and VC’s. We want to make this conference exciting and will be putting packages together for our international guests, including Wine-tours, Golf-tours & Adventure Sport packages.
There’s seemingly no lack of ambition behind this event, but as of this very minute, there’s very little to show for how exciting the event might be.
A venue has not been announced, nor has a list of speakers been made public. Bitcoin South says they’ll be releasing this information (and more) come mid-June.
