North American Bitcoin Conference Expects Over 2,000 Attendees

Heading to The North American Bitcoin Conference in mid-July? It’s taking place in Chicago, Illinois, and it’s expected to be an interesting event with scores of enthusiasts, business people, and those curious about this emerging digital currency.

Event organizers wrote in a recent news update that they expect a decent turnout for the event, with over 2,000 individuals expected to descend upon the windy city to satisfy their bitcoin cravings, as reported by CoinTelegraph.

It’s the next conference put together for bitcoin fans, following a recent one that took place earlier this year in Miami.

And despite the size of the crowd, the Conference is looking to bring even more people through the doors with affordable ticket prices. They write:

To make our event the most affordable and community-oriented bitcoin conference in the world, we’ve slashed our tickets prices to $100 and will keep it at that price for the foreseeable future. This means more of our community members can participate in the exciting workshops and networking opportunities we offer. We don’t believe in any barriers to entry.

The event is hosting an impressive line of speakers, too. BitPay’s Tony Gallippi, Litecoin creator Charlie Lee, “Bitcoin Jesus” Roger Ver, and more (you can view a full list of speakers here).

Things are growing at TNABC:

In 2 short years The North American Bitcoin Conference has grown from 100 attendees in 2012, to 1200 visitors from 30 countries in 2014. This is due to our attendees unwavering enthusiasm. Our community made us, so our philosophy will remain simple: we put our community first. We will provide networking and education opportunities for attendees that are unavailable anywhere else and keep the conference affordable for everyone.
