Satoshi Nakamoto: 30th Most Influential Man in UK’s ‘Ask Men’

AskMen Top Men Satoshi

Sitting along the ranks of Prince William, Pope Francis, and Barack Obama in UK’s Ask Men Top 49 Men countdown (2013 edition) is none other than Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin’s founding father.

He was voted into the 30th place by readers of the publication as influential no doubt because of the amazing invention that is Bitcoin. The digital currency has been in the limelight since earlier this year for reaching unexpected but welcomed highs.

Of course, it should be noted that nobody really knows if Nakamoto even really exists, or if the name is simply a disguise of sorts. 34% percent of Ask Men readers would like to see Nakamoto lower on the list, while 52% would have liked to see him closer to the number 1 position 14% felt the ranking appropriate. This is according to a nifty little voting tool available below each man on the list.

Also, the 30th placeholder seems to have an image of footballer David Beckham, and if you click to another place on the list and back to position 30, you’ll notice David Beckham is in the slot. Not entirely sure what’s going on with that but we’re looking into it and will post with more information as it becomes available.
