The talking point? Bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin. Some very powerful people in the finance community are looking to talk digital currency.

It’s unclear just who these investors are, but they’ve got some serious cash. And it’s no surprise they want to talk to Silbert.
SecondMarket is responsible for the Bitcoin Investment Trust, a gateway for accredited investors to get into the bitcoin realm. SecondMarket recently announced plans to open the Trust to any investor.
Above anything else here is the highlight of Wall Street’s increasing interest in bitcoin — which has gained notoriety in the last year due to price spikes, the first of which happening in April 2013 to over $200, and later in November to over $1000.
