Stanford University Offering Free Course on Cryptography

If you thought that the University of Nicosia’s free bitcoin introductory course was a deal, you might be happy to learn that Stanford University is offering a free course on Cryptography, as pointed out on Reddit.

The course, Cryptography I, is taught by computer science professor Dan Boneh — who leads the applied cryptography group within the computer science division at Stanford.

According to the course description, the course will cover ” the inner workings of cryptographic primitives and how to correctly use them”.

The course is composed of video lectures, quizzes, and programming assignments, which for many of you might be an exciting opportunity.
