If you’re one of the many who have placed an order for the TREZOR bitcoin hardware wallet, there’s some good news awaiting you this Friday.
The company behind the highly-anticipated wallet, Satoshi Labs, has announced that the devices are a “just a few days” away from being delivered from the manufacturing plant to Satoshi Labs inventory.
The company teased an image on their blog of the wallets (see below) which look noticeably different than prototypes. Namely, the case. You’ll see the company has settled on a white case, which does look quite nice, if we may say.
They write:
[blockquote style=”2″]We hope you’ll love them as much as everybody else who had the opportunity to see them. After having considered a ton of colors and all shades of grey, we’ve fallen for the “light”.[/blockquote]
The cases for the device were actually the main cause of the numerous delays behind the product. We’ve communicated several times with Satoshi Labs, who point the blame at the manufacturer enlisted to do the work.
Needless to say, another manufacturer was selected to complete the job, and here we are.
Satoshi Labs says they are on track to deliver the wallets before the end of this month, and the entire First Edition batch of wallets will be completed by the next week.
The company is asking customers to verify their shipment addresses at this time to ensure delivery.
