Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff Shows Support for Bitcoin on Social Media

It was back in mid-March when Zillow.com CEO Spencer Rascoff was reconsidering his bitcoin skepticism. He did so in the form of a Twitter post, announcing to the world he was the owner of some newly-acquired bitcoin.

“Bought some bitcoin this morning,” he wrote at the time. “Buckle up.”

“I look forward to exploring more about bitcoin in the future, and possibly investing more in the currency and the sector. Given the surprisingly high level of interest in this topic, I will also probably blog about my thoughts on bitcoin when I have time,” he told NEWSBTC at the time in a statement.

Now, it would appear as if he’s gotten a bit deeper into the cryptocurrency, according to a Tweet posted earlier this week (Rascoff is known for his frequent Tweeting).

When asked by CNBC’s Sara Eisen on the social network whether or not he was a “bitcoin believer” yet, Rascoff responded by stating, “But more importantly, now I believe in bticoin’s potential, with the zealotry of a convert.”

Looks like Rascoff has joined the ship.

And the interesting thing is that Spencer isn’t the only businessman who’s finding interest in bitcoin and digital currency as a whole. We seemingly hear new statements every week from previous skeptics who’ve taken the time to learn more and discover the potential here.

A very interesting time is ahead of us.
