Social game developer Zynga announced this weekend plans to test in-game purchases using bitcoin, according to an announcement post on Reddit.com.
The company, famous for their ‘FarmVille’ game, says they’re partnering with bitcoin payment processor BitPay to make it all work.
The test is said to only be available to users playing the following Zynga games: FarmVille 2, CastleVille, ChefVille, CoasterVille, Hidden Chronicles, Hidden Shadows and CityVille.
A user on Reddit has uploaded a sample video showing the purchase-with-bitcoin process, which is embedded below.
What do you think? Would you personally buy any Zynga video games now that the option to pay in bitcoin is now available?
