On February 21st, Alexey Burdyko, CEO of Play2Live, opened the token sale with a Q&A live session, answering product and sale related questions. The recording is available here.
Play2Live (P2L), the first full-blown blockchain-based streaming platform for gamers and esports fans, operating on BitShares 2.0, has released its MVP version 2.0 and opened the main token sale event which lasts until March 14th at 17:00 UTC.
The platform update includes a brand new design and a voting feature which allows to vote during show matches and tournaments using LUC Silver.
The platform has successfully completed the high-load testing, having already run the show matches and streams. It is ready to accept up to 200k viewers during The Play2Live CryptoMasters – the world’s first esport tournament in CS:GO with crypto prize pool. The tournament will be held on February 24-25, 2018 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, where 8 international top teams will compete for the main prize $100,000 in LUC (Level Up Coin) tokens. It will be broadcasted by P2L worldwide in nine languages: English, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Serbian, Romanian and German.
Sally Eaves, the highly experienced Chief Technology Officer, Practicing Professor of FinTech and member of the Forbes Technology Council also recently joined advisory board of Play2Live.
“An international author, keynote speaker and mentor on FinTech and disruptive technologies, Sally Eaves is consistently ranked amongst the top 10 thought leaders for blockchain and social media influencers worldwide. Joining P2L team as an advisor, she clearly emphasizes the enormous potential of blockchain technology in streaming industry. In addition to the world’s first esports tournament with crypto prize pool Play2Live CryptoMasters held by the end of February in Minsk, Belarus, there is a clear view of project’s progress in terms of technological development. And now we are happy to announce the release of our MVP version 2.0 with enhanced capabilities and functions”, comments Alexey Burdyko, CEO and founder at Play2Live.
Founded in 2017, Play2Live aims to merge blockchain technology with esports streaming services. Its mission is to create an ecosystem where every participant – the viewer, the streamer, and the esports tournament organizer – is part of a seamless system that favours interaction among viewers, and the diversity of monetization schemes. Essentially, everybody can be part of the peer-to-peer interaction, and everybody – even the viewer – is able to earn money. Play2live will have 15 sources of revenue, which is three times more compared to the streaming industry leaders.
Play2Live uses a token called Level Up Coin (LUC) which acts as a sole internal mean of payment within the system. It can be easily converted to other cryptocurrencies or to fiat money throughout a special gateway/API.
The token sale event begins on February 21st, 2018. Don’t miss the bonuses! For more information, visit the site or follow Play2Live in various cryptocurrency-oriented media sources.
