Ethereum-based gambling platform vDice has confirmed that it will be inaugurating its ICO on November 15th. The decentralised project explained that how the aforementioned crowdsale can bring success to its investors; it presented their full-scale whitepaper and roadmaps to better illustrate their concrete motives. Here are some excerpts from our conversation:

vDice Rep: vDice is the world’s 1st fully decentralized gambling platform. It’s like skype, but for gambling, using blockchain.
How do you plan to fund this project?

Tell us more about the crowdsale?
The crowdsale will start on Nov. 15th. The token is called; vSlice. It is the world’s 1st profit-sharing token. Hold vSlice tokens and earn profit from the vDice games. Or trade vSlice on exchanges, for profit.
Tokens are very limited in supply. There is a cap.: 96 million tokens. After the Crowdsale (ICO) there will never be any more. vSlice is your share of the profit from vDice.
How you plan to distribute profits among stakeholders?
The profits are shared to the vSlice token holders. This is done automatically, by Ethereum Smart Contract.
And how these profits will be made?
Profits will be made on all vDice games. vDice is live and works. It is one of the most popular Smart Contracts on Ethereum. If you believe Ethereum has a bright future, then vDice is a very good application to support for success.
How do you plan to tackle regional gambling laws?
It’s important to distinguish between the software side and the gambling side. The main vdice game, the satoshidice influenced smart contract, is fully decentralized. It’s a world first. It’s a new paradigm.
There is no server architecture. Everything lives on the ethereum network. This has never been possible before. The vdice site itself just shows the addresses for the smart contracts. They are bits of software loaded onto the network.
So most of the work is software development. So there is a separate entity for that. The best jurisdictions for open source software development are all under consideration. For the “gambling” side, it depends how much control we exercise as other developers build the games. Malta is the most likely jurisdiction at the moment. For its competitive benefits, including competitive licensing fees.
