Until recently, “getting in on the ground floor” (a phrase used to describe the attractive terms early-stage investors could access in a promising venture) was usually only open to in-the-know seed-capital investors with a lot of capital. But now with the advent of tokenisation, regular people all over the world can buy tokens as investments in promising businesses.

This sea-change seems to resonate particularly well for those interested in investing in socially-conscious endeavours. The idea of getting a good return on an investment while helping the world is especially attractive to regular investors. A new blockchain platform specialising in health products and hoping to capitalize on this is BitVit. BitVit is aiming to use blockchain to create a system where their BitVit token (BVC) is the global currency for use in their network of stores, resorts, and webshops. By purchasing these tokens, investors can “get in on the ground floor” with this enterprise.

Growth as a strategy

The company elaborated on how they are currently targetting growth: “A specific distribution strategy has been developed under the name “Modern Social Sales.” It has an internationally oriented focus and combines the trading idea with so-called “drop shipping.” Distribution takes place via the YllaLife direct marketing tool, which provides for the introduction of the products through referral marketing. The basis for the sales activities are the YllaLife Centers where, based on a holistic approach exercise concept, therapeutic measures, healthy diets, beauty treatments and more health-related goods and services are actively offered. These centers shall also become the places where own organic cultivation is operated. In addition, training for sales of the health concepts shall take place at these centers as well.”

Hubs of health

In terms of what Ylla Centres and the technology they offer actually consists of, the BitVit whitepaper explains further. “YllaLife is a sales company which was developed with the purpose of commercializing all kinds of products and services related to health. The basis of YllaLife’s product and service offering is the Yllasports Sports School on the Great Canary Island. Currently, Yllasports is offering both health-related products and services and is aiming to build a global network of offers and knowledge with a focus on physical and mental wellbeing. The expansion of Yllasports into a global sport- and health center is aimed to create an intellectual exchange among scientists and industry experts and to share their findings and knowledge with everybody, creating more knowledgeable and healthier generations.”

Mentioned in their whitepaper are examples of products including an innovative dental solution and water filtration system, and services such as therapeutic and sports treatments.
