Coinbase today announced a partnership with the Budweiser Made in America (BMIA) Concert Series that will give out $10 worth of free bitcoin to eligible concert-goers.

Budweiser’s Made in America Concert Series takes place throughout the summer in over thirty cities in a lead-up to two major events happening on the weekend of August 30-31 in Los Angeles in Philadelphia.

All eligible concert-goers are able to opt-in to receive the free $10 worth of bitcoin using Coinbase. So what makes one eligible or ineligible? According to Coinbase, the individual must be registered for at least one of the thirty Made in America events and must opt-in to the promotion when registering for their tickets.

Upon finishing a wallet creation on Coinbase, the account will receive the $10 worth of bitcoin.

Those who receive the $10 credit (or anyone who is into bitcoin in general) can then spend their bitcoins at participating BMIS concession stands on their mobile phones. They will, of course, be able to spend those coins anywhere else that accepts bitcoin.

The Complex in Salt Lake City will be the very first BMIA venue to accept bitcoin via Coinbase on the 12th of June, we’re learning from a press release sent to us by the San Francisco-based company.

The news comes not terribly long following another of Coinbase’s promotions. The company announced they would be distributing $10 worth of free bitcoins to college students at eligible institutions for a limited time.

The company says they’ve done their best to accommodate the world’s top 500 schools.

It’s all part of Coinbase’s plan to attract the younger crowd, and we’d say they’re doing a pretty fine job.
