KuCoin, IDG-backed cryptocurrency exchange has recently announced this year’s second project on its Spotlight program. The latest project to conduct a token sale through the program will be Bitbns, an Indian crypto exchange whose BNS tokens will be available starting July 30, 2020.
BNS is a multi-protocol native utility token on Bitbns. It is designed to help enable the general masses to use cryptocurrency, just like they would use fiat for day-to-day transactions. So far, BNS has completed four rounds of pre-public sales within 20 minutes and also has proven real-world use cases like shopping on Amazon and other E-commerce sites, paying the electricity bill and enjoying trading fee discounts on Bitdroplet, a BItbns backed platform that facilitates investments in Bitcoin using the SIP strategy. Some of the supported fiat currencies on Bitdroplet include USD, EUR, GBP, INR, THB, and AED.
Founded in December 2017 by a bunch of IIT alumni, Bitbns has become one of India’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. It has attracted over half a million users within a year of its inception, and also holds the accolade of being the first exchange in India that listed 50+ cryptocurrencies within a year of its launch.
