The ATM Industry Association has today released a commission report written by the Tremon Capital Group — a large consulting firm that specializes in the ATM industry.
Entitled “An Introduction to Bitcoin ATMs”, the report covers the topic of the ever-increasing amount of bitcoin ATMs, if you haven’t already guessed by the name.
“We’ve been asked as an industry body to comment on the significance of Bitcoin and digital currencies to the ATM and cash industries,” said Mike Lee, ATMIA CEO. “This paper is our first report of many which will enable us to draw some logical conclusions about how Bitcoin will affect payments and regulations in future.”
The report was carried out by Sam M. Ditzion, a “widely respected” entity in the ATM industry, and in short, “offers an overview of the history of Bitcoin, how the currency works, recent controversies, the evolving regulatory landscape, and the expanding role of Bitcoin ATMs.”
ATMIA members can obtain the report right now, non-members can purchase it for $145.00. For more information, follow this link.
“We reach out our hand of friendship to BitCoin ATM operators, and encourage them to come within the fold of our industry and its governance framework and best practices.” ~ATMIA. Of course you do. And whilst you’re at it, why not write up a report full of otherwise free information and sell it to non atmia peeps for $145. Oh wait..
