BlackCoin is taking notice of what makes a popular coin, and it’s pretty similar to what makes a popular product. Consumers need to first be aware of the product, gather knowledge, an interest in that product and the ultimate goal that BlackCoin or anyone wants, adoption. BlackCoin announced that they would take the step to hire a PR firm to help them achieve this goal on May 3rd.
BlackCoin has reportedly chosen the Max Borges Agency, of Miami, Florida for the initiative. BlackCoin’s PR campaign will run for 90 days, which will cost $32,500. The BlackCoin Foundation had raised half of the amount when they made the announcement and 72 hours later have fully funded the project.
Max Borges Agency is a social media and technology PR agency “with a 100% focus on technology.” The agency has helped launch over 1,250 products and services.
BlackCoin has put together a marketing plan that outlines what they want to accomplish and the timeline they have for those goals. Download
BlackCoin’s strategy is to:
“Develop a series of messages and “pitch points” that clearly demonstrate Blackcoin’s value to target audiences, and implement a comprehensive communications plan that distributes the appropriate messages to each audience segment”
BlackCoin is currently the 9th largest cryptocurrency by market cap at 9.7 million USD, each coin is worth $0.13. The PoW/PoS AltCoin is the first to hire a PR firm, although other communities have tried donation campaigns to gain attention, most notably dogecoin.
