Internet search engine DuckDuckGo is joining the bitcoin club.
Well, sort of. The engine, which prides itself on protecting user privacy, is now displaying bitcoin price quotes on relevant search queries.
Queries the likes of “bitcoin price” will display quotes for easy reference. The quote box supplies the user to the Markets page at Blockchain.info, which serves as an additional resource.
The world’s largest search engine, Google, has yet to implement such a feature. Though competitor Bing has added a feature allowing for the rate conversion of bitcoin to fiat. Information engine WolframAlpha also added a bitcoin lookup feature recently, too.
The addition of such features come in especially handy not for bitcoin enthusiasts, but individuals unfamiliar with the digital currency looking to get some quick information.
