Today, the Winklevoss twins — Cameron and Tyler — announced on Reddit that the mobile version of their popular bitcoin price tracker, the WinkDex (also known as the Winklevoss Index) is now available.
Specifically, users on iPhone and iPod Touch are able to download the app directly from the App Store, and from the looks of it, the app contains some pretty interesting information when it comes to keeping informed on the bitcoin markets.
From charts, to a super useful historical price calculator, the app is so far a win in my book. I’ve been playing around with it for a few minutes on my iPhone 6, and I’m pleasantly surprised at just how clean it looks.
The Winklevoss twins also note that users can expect a whole lot more from the app in the near future.
“We have a lot of awesome things in the pipeline, so expect some great updates shortly,” wrote one of the twins on Reddit.
There are a ton of bitcoin price apps out there, but the WinkDex includes a blend of pricing from a number of exchanges, which is most certainly useful.
The WindDex was launched earlier this year, and was primarily designed as the official price tracker of the still-pending Bitcoin ETF led by the Winklevosses.

Yes this is great – I actually use Windex to clean the windows in my house. Oh wait, did you say Winkdex? Sorry . . . how embarrassing for me to make such a stupid mistake! I guess I just got confused. Whenever anyone with a really funny name decides to use that funny name as a brand name, it usually causes my synaptic fluids to coagulate and quickly build resistance to normal electrochemical responses. Again . . . sorry guys.
But seriously folks . . . WinkDex? WTF you silly lumberjack sized white boys!?? Come back down to earth fellers.
