Armenia Convenes Global IT Hubs at Armenian Blockchain Forum

Armenian Blockchain Forum – is an informational and educational ecosystem created to combine and consolidate the expertise and experience of the innovative companies, specialists, and entrepreneurs and build a favorable environment for the IT companies development.

“The questions of implementation and use of the distributed ledger technology are becoming more and more relevant every day as it affects all the spheres of our activity” – says The Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan in his welcome letter to the participants of the forum.

The agenda of the event also features the Road Show for ICO-companies. This is the first time such event takes place in Yerevan. The moderators carefully pick the most promising startups for participation. Currently, more than 30 investment funds from 20 countries confirmed their participation. We expect guests from Armenia, USA, Ireland, China, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Hong Kong and other countries. The overall capital of the funds participating in the forum is more than $10 billion. To provide the best output from the startups’ business efforts, their representatives will have an opportunity to both present their projects to the investors during the pitch-session and conduct private negotiations with specialized funds. The forum organizers also arranged gala dinner for VIPs and Investors as an additional networking opportunity.

Armenian Blockchain Forum features three sections with a plenary meeting dedicated to the future of the blockchain industry, the impact of the blockchain on current events in the world, cryptocurrency investment and ICO-projects.

For students and entrepreneurs making their first steps into the blockchain-industry, there are 12 workshops within the framework of the forum.

TOP-15 startup teams carefully picked by experts will present their projects to the professional investors with overall capital amounting to $10 billion.
