On July 21 and 22, the Blockchain Partners Summit was successfully held in Seoul, South Korea. Ruff Chain CEO Roy Li was invited to participate in the roundtable and sharing sessions. During the roundtable discussion themed “The Battle of Platforms”, he shared his opinion that blockchain was still in the early stages of development and there is still a long way to go before this technology will be used on a large scale. There is so much for us to develop and use with regards to a blockchain ecosystem. At present, the financial system has a high cost of credit and many limitations. The blockchain is able to lower the credit cost and realize value circulation.
Roy Li shared his speech titled “Future Technology Enhancements of Blockchain”, which covered four aspects: scalability of smart contracts, optimization, underlying abstraction, and developer friendliness. A link to the English speech is provided below:
Ruff Chain set up their booth at the exhibition zone, where Roy was interviewed by AMBLE, a blockchain media outlet in South Korea, as well as mainstream media outlets like Hankyung. Many South Korean blockchain companies also stopped at the booth to talk about business opportunities.
