Andy Warhol NFT Sold For $262,000 For ARTII Foundation Within 2 Hours Of Release

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17, 2021 — ARTII announces, in a joint effort with ArtiiKorea, the successful soft launch of Artii.org, with the completed sale of a $262,000 dollar Andy Warhol art NFT, within 2 hours of its release.

The Warhol NFT was issued as 1000 NFTs for .417 BNB ($262.29) each which was sold to numerous ARTII users, bringing the completed sale total to $262k. Andy Warhol, was an American artist, film director, and producer who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.

His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, advertising, and celebrity culture that flourished by the 1960s, and span a variety of media, including painting, photography, film, and sculpture. Some of his best-known works include the silkscreen paintings Campbell’s Soup Cans.
