DeFine announces partnership with Cere Network, a Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform built on Substrate and Polygon. Both parties intend to integrate Cere’s DDC technology into the DeFine NFT ecosystem to build a decentralized and secure NFT ecosystem.

Cere’s Decentralized Data Cloud is built to solve a common problem that businesses and developers are encountering: the lack of true data ownership.
Recently, Cere Network launched Cere Freeport, built on Cere’s DDC in collaboration with Polygon. Freeport is the first truly decentralized NFT management platform, empowering developers to secure and deliver NFT-backed data assets together with the NFT to the purchasers in a trustless way via its smart contracts and tools.
DeFine core contributors value the importance of decentralization and data ownership therefore, cooperatively with Cere Network, we intend to further build a secure and trustless NFT asset management, custody, and delivery solution for our communities.
Expand DeFine Social Profile System
In the near future, DeFine plans to bring its social profile system to Cere Network. Active community members will be able to claim badges on the DeFine platform and enjoy benefits to be announced later.
This badge system is the first step in DeFine’s Social Profile System, where eligible users will receive unique NFT-based badges according to their contribution among the community. All activities in the Cere ecosystem, from completing tutorials to signing up for Cere Decentralized Data Cloud will be accounted for.
Both as active players in the Polygon ecosystem, DeFine will continue working with Cere Network to explore great collaboration opportunities to enhance the ecosystem.
