Canada-based crypto-currency exchange Vault of Satoshi took to social media on Wednesday to announce some new features to the bitcoin community. Called “Part 1” of the company’s summer update, the company had the following to announce:
The first feature is automated withdrawals and deposits. The company writes:
First and foremost we’ve introduced automated withdrawals and deposits on all of our methods other than the new pre-paid cards. This is something that our customers have been craving for a long time, and we wanted to ensure we found a safe, efficient and reliable method of integrating this. So from now on you will no longer need to email Stacy and Noreen in our deposits and withdrawal department to have them process payments! (Although they are going to miss you guys, so if you do need to talk to them be sure to thank them for all the hard work they’ve done these past few months!)
Next up: Instant Interac Deposits. Instead of establishing an ATM network (which some exchanges like BTC China have started to do), Vault of Satoshi now offers instant payments via the Interac Network — which is supported by Canada’s largest banks. Vault of Satoshi says there is a small fee involved ($1.50) but users will be able to transfer money instantly.
The company also announce pre-paid debit card and pre-paid MasterCard withdrawals today:
We’ve introduced new and exciting withdrawal methods that allow Canadians users to get a Pre-Paid Debit Card or Pre-Paid Mastercard that they can load their Vault of Satoshi balance on to with ease.
Due to the nature of these cards and our compliance policies adding money to these cards still must be done manually but should happen same day.
Pre-Paid Debit can be used at any point of sale terminal or ATM. Pre-Paid Mastercards can be used online, at point of sale, or any ATM. Usage fees do apply and can be found on the Vault of Satoshi website.
Vault of Satoshi is also creating a liquidity partnership that will increase the liquidity pool for users. And speaking of users, the company has announced they have about 40,000 at this point. Impressive.
